Who's up for dinner Tuesday night in Manhattan? I'll be on my own that evening and have no idea where to go - suggestions welcome. Looking for good food, nice atmosphere, not wildly expensive.

Also: Where is the best place/time to pick up rough crusty men on a weeknight, preferably without getting mugged?

I am coming by at about 1 or 1:30 today (Saturday). I fly out on Sunday.

I enjoyed Veselka. Open all night. Earlier, if you are up to the pretense the Standard Grill over at the high rise uber cool Standard Hotel in the Meat Market district.
The default bar for a mandatory visit is Ty's of course, which closes earlier than the new 3 level plus rooftop New York Eagle. Call me or write if you want to meet up with Bear DPS or dominicvine. NYC is the city that never sleeps !
