Manhattan - arrival

Feeling totally at ease here, very different from what I had expected. Took a five mile hike from my hotel near the Queensboro bridge, through central park, times square, and ending in Greenwich village. Amazing!

Went to a couple of bars, TJs and Eagle NYC. Both were packed - the Eagle is a fantastic place. Chatted up one nice guy at TJs and am getting cruised everywhere I go, yet have not seen a single guy that really turns me on. Perhaps after the RMC beer bust my circuits are blown, but the men here are not like West Coast men. Very little in the way of extravagant facial hair.

Sleep tonight, work tomorrow. More fun Tuesday.

It's a great city. You'll have fun. They're pretty civilized and up front about what's up. Don't get offended though by their directness. It's just their style.

Have fun in NYC and the Borough of Manhattan. I was born there, but don't consider myself a native. Still fun to visit, though.
