Logger Invasion
Mar. 26th, 2010 05:58 pmIt's the Redwood Region Logging Conference this weekend. For once, I can attend some of the festivities. I was going to go in for a logger cocktail hour this evening, but it's right before dinner, which is not exactly peak "wood" hour, and I kind of want to have a quiet dinner at home after a very busy week.
Tomorrow there are various exhibits at the fairgrounds. Nature is playing at the Himilayan Cafe at 7 PM. And afterwards, there are numerous bars which may contain large numbers of intoxicated loggers. Or not. That seems like the right order in which to do things. Rather short notice, but anyone who wants to call it a "night on the town" is welcome to join in - it's rather rare that there is such a interesting confluence of distinctively Mendocino County events, so if you were ever inclined to venture out to a town 100 miles north of SF this would be the night to do it.
Eye candy is guaranteed.
