An article by conservative author Jim Manzi in the National Review ravages a popular book denying global warming:
Liberty and Tyranny and Epistemic Closure
I couldn't have said it better myself. Glad to see a principled, well educated conservative standing up to some of the insanity in their own ranks. As a secular, center-left kinda guy, I really do appreciate a sincere right-wing perspective on things. So seeing American conservatism hijacked by rabble-rousing nutcases is kind of painful. (Needless to say, the same sentiment apples to liberals, too. I'm an equal-opportunity eye-roller.) Manzi's article seems like a step in the right direction.
