What kind of place is this, where not even a Starbucks is open at 8:30? It's taken me an hour to find something for breakfast that isn't a $12 hotel croissant.
Jupiter is about 20 miles north of where my parents live, in Grandparent Heaven. Remember that most Gold Coast residents have to pee through recalcitrant bladders and/or enlarged prostates, which means that people rarely get out of the bathroom before 9AM to visit their local eateries.
The arrival area for concourse B of the PBI airport is quite amusing: there is a Plexiglas-enclosed "grandparent zoo" (located at the 135-degree bend where B meets the main terminal) with carpeting and plush comfy-chairs and cable TV, with an unobstructed view down the terminal hallway so you can easily see your grandchildren approaching when they get off the plane.
Many bars offer café con leche y croissant for under 2 €. Starbucks uses the term "caffè Latte" for café con leche. Locals avoid Starbucks as the Italian chains offer a cheaper product.
