Japanese Monsters Invade Florida

snousleSomething I came across by chance in Florida - the Morikami museum and their must-see Japanese garden. I was just starting to head out to look at the gardens when a huge thunderstorm came down without warning, so I ran back inside, and sat in the cafe and ate unagi-don while about two inches of rain came down over a half hour.
The rain did not let up, so I only saw the garden from a distance, but the museum was hosting an exhibition of Japanese monster figurines:
