Well, here we are. Lunch was delicious - hummus, spinach salad, gazpacho. But still, that's not so much a meal as toppings for a cheeseburger. While half the gathering went in for their AA meeting, I made a run for ice cream and beer. Its all very lovely but I'm not sure I can handle all the gentleness and sincerity.

Very interesting, though, gleaning facts about the economics of it all. I come as something of a spy in that regard.
