Grr

For no apparent reason my shoulder muscles have decided to freak out on me. Can't even turn my head from side to side. No relationship to previous injuries, the only reason I can think of is overdoing it when I oiled the decks last week. (There was a LOT of scrubbing involved.)

Having my first Tiger Balm experience. Stimulating. Glad I didn't try it on my balls.

Unfortunately if this affliction does not cure itself in the next six hours, I will be unable to drive to San Francisco today and will miss the MLK day party at the Hole, as well as a planned dinner engagement. :-(

Somebody must know this

What do high-end Chinese chefs do for sauces? I cannot believe they are buying Kikkoman oyster sauce or Dynasty black bean and garlic sauce. They suck. Yet I don't know of any alternatives. Do they do their own fermentation? Do they import it? Do they buy it off the secret Chinese version of Amazon that white people aren't allowed to see?
