Finally got totally fed up with the Microsoft bluetooth mouse that never works right. Not only does it stop working at random periods (and start working again for no reason), it's jumpy and absurdly hard to control. I hadn't noticed how bad it had gotten but it seems it was raising my stress level a lot. You know how some window dividers are about one pixel wide? This mouse somehow knew when I was trying to grab one and it would always jump off of it. Practically gave me a nervous breakdown.

I figured, this is bullshit, there is no reason to EVER suffer with a mouse that is less than perfect. I mean, I've got this thing in my hand more than almost anything, except my pecker of course. So I ought to get one that really works.

I went out and bought the most expensive wireless mouse at the office supply shop, a $99 Logitech "performance mouse". Boy, was that EVER worth it. It's like it's on rails. Amazing how much less stressful using a computer is when you can actually control the danged pointer.

I remember a certain bar, no longer with us, that had a display of discarded mice. If it was still here you could hang yours in effigy.

It's a poor worker who blames his tools... but only because the good workers have enough sense to buy good tools.

I've had a couple Logitech Performance MX mice for a couple years. They are the best mice that I've ever had. I keep one in my laptop bag for when I'm on the road. I like the fact that they include an Eneloop AA battery - standard battery sizes rule.
