Cut one pound of abalone into thin strips. Blanch the abalone in boiling water for one minute, drain. Braise in chicken stock until the end of time.

Once it becomes obvious that an edible texture will never be achieved, drain the abalone and discard the stock. Place the abalone in a cast iron frying pan over the pilot light. Dry overnight, seal tightly, and place in drawer with other dog treats.
