Clearly Analyst

That puts me squarely in the Analyst Camp.

I wonder if it is possible for outside influences to make you change?

I don't think it is a function of age.

My Aunt is certainly a Partisan. I think it is because she watches too much Fox News. But then Fox News could be a chicken and egg question. Does she watch Fox because she found they fit her world view or did her world view change because she watches Fox News?

It would seem the Fox News is the haven of Partisans.

I tend to Listen to NPR. Is All things Considered whee the analysts hang out?

For the most part I believe that the Partisans are the Religious in our country. Clearly Partisans share a black and white view of the world while Analysts see many steps between right and wrong.

Does it follow that Analysts are highly educated? Certainly, we question things instead of "take them on faith." Arguments don't work on Partisans, even when the proof is clear.

I like your presentation of this. It is true that Liberal and Conservative don't mean anything. I am very fiscally conservative but socially liberal. Republican and Democrat don't mean anything either. They seem to have changed places in recent years. The Democrats were always the poor and the Republicans were always the rich. I would love to see you expand on the Partisan/Analyst concept.
