Oddball question: gas cans

Does anyone reading this have an opinion on California-legal gas cans, which since 2001 have been required by law to have (possibly inconvenient) mechanisms that prevent vapors from escaping? Are some better than others?

They are all rubbish. I try to find pre-2001 ones when I "can."

Go to garage sales and find a older one WITH the original spout AND air vent on the other side The air vent with its own screw lid. They always been the best and worth the $5.

I haven't had any good luck with them. I use older ones.
What size do you need?
We have a couple of 2 or 2.5 gallon ones that are not being used.
