Yeah, you read that right! It was all very good luck. I had called fedex to see if they could hold it in the office in town, but they could not.

However, our delivery girl called ahead to see if we were going to be in, and I explained the situation. She was able to hold it in the office so I could get it on my way out of town. She was no doubt grateful that she didn't have to come all the way up to the house. Thus, I am using it now. Glad I had the notebook, the things don't work right out of the box, you have to go through a while lot of hassle to get it going. It got hooked up to the cell network alright, but I don't think they have 3G broadband here in Red Bluff seeing as it isn't any faster than Edge service on the iPhone. I sure hope it will be faster in a more urban area.

The screen is beautiful and I find the keyboard pretty natural to use. But carrying three computing devices at once is a bit much...

Well, you can wipe anything, no? The question is whether it gets clean or not... This remains uncertain.

In the 3G version, you don't even have to turn it over. The accelerometer senses the orientation and cleans the screen no matter how you shake it.
