Yep, he's also in the last photo. He lives near Yuba City and is full of tales of adventure, like when he was doing underwater welding in the Bering Sea. He's both bigger (300+ lbs) and hotter than the photos suggest. ;-)
He gets my vote as the most lust-inducing guy this weekend. I only got a hug and a kiss from him, but it was enough to send me over the moon. His partner Rey gets my vote as the most witty and interesting conversationalist of the weekend, so they’re definitely Folks to Get to Know.
My campouts are deliberately pre-modern. You can't eliminate the 20th century, but you can remove enough of it from view to pretend it never happened. ;-)
I know what you mean. I have a room like that in our house; most everything in it suggests the late 19th century. I wouldn't want to live in that era full-time, but it's nice as a refuge once in awhile.
