In trying to find a google ref to the poem, I found out that it's been made into a song...

I'm OK with being alone, but that doesn't make being alone OK.

For years, people have told me that I needed to learn to be OK with my own company, and I think I have.

But is the goal to be alone? Humans are pack animals. It is not natural, or healthy, for them to live in isolation.
