snousleGot into Wellington last night. The train ride was pretty but it shook a LOT - it took hours to get my legs back.
Eating out here has gone from mediocre to exceptional since my last visit 18 or so years ago. Mike loves to eat so the two of us went on a bit of a bender. Had to physically restrain him from paying for everything. Everyone so far has been generous to the point of embarrassment - even had a taxi driver round down the fare by 80 cents.
John's computer charger (MacBook g5 I think) is misbehaving so typing is limited right now. It doesnt seem to like 220 volts and may be overheating. Will probably find an Internet cafe tomorrow to get some work done.
