Finally recruited a hundred new homosexuals so I got the really good toaster oven. I thought I'd never make it, but after a busy night at the Motel 6 during the Redwood Region Logging Conference, the Gay Agenda Council agreed that I'd qualified. They said that, under the circumstances, it was understandable that I'd lost count, but the sheriff's booking records alone proved that I must have gotten over the finish line.

Anyway. Brilliant toaster. Cooks Illustrated says its the best. Haven't actually toasted anything yet, but the fully rational and sensible controls are a marvel. Donald Norman would approve. Being slightly larger than most, it's great for warming plates.

Just in time for QBT?

No toast for QBT. Bikers get the corn mush with moldy old meat and boiled tree sap.

It's a Breville BOV800XL, which I got through Amazon. The only thing I don't like about it is that takes up a lot of space and the exterior gets quite hot. I was worried it might be inefficient but toasting something only costs five cents.

Yes. I was looking at the model without the convection oven - costs a little less.

How many guys do you have to recruit to get a new chafing dish?

LOL. A buddy of mine pointed out that the only difference between gay and straight motorcycle clubs are that the gay clubs own chafing dishes.

Are you looking for one? I actually have six 13" round ones, which are very nice, and I'm considering unloading a couple if you are interested.

No, I'm not so kitchenly inclined. It's just that "toaster oven" sounded so... pedestrian, while "chafing dish" sounds much more kinky.

It looks beautiful, but it seems you can't use it for broiling.

You can't? I have no problem broiling with it.

Hurray! I would have expected them to mention that on the Web page. Well, maybe when my Black & Decker goes bad (as, with that brand name, it surely will) -- that one is sure pretty.
