Here's something that caught my eye - the Swanson Pyramid of Greatness. Not sure what to call it but the guys out here on the ranch are just like him:

(full size)

I have long felt torn up by my love-hate relationship with this sort of character.

I don't know who that guy is, but he looks so much like Bernard Fox it's causing me cognitive dissonance.

There are some bricks there I find repulsive, some "meh" and definitely a few I agree with - the ones on skim milk and on B.O., for example. ;)

I noticed that too.
I wonder what else on his pyramid he violates ....

Not sure about what parts of it he violates, but there are a few parts of him I would like to violate

What an utterly perfect asshole.
Dispatch it in a killing jar and pin its wings to a foam board...

From the comments on that link: The graphic design is a direct copy of [UCLA Coach] John Wooden’s Pyramid of Success. I’m not saying that it wasn’t funny, but it is satirizing Wooden’s Pyramid of Success

Actually, I find it an interesting take on defining masculinity.

The unifying theme seems to be "impenetrability". Defense at every level, not just the thick torso but also a metaphysics sealed against intellectual disruption of any kind. (When you think about it, how would you penetrate a torso?) I guess that's what makes it so hot when I've got a guy like that screaming into his pillow. ;-)

LOL. Very manipulative, isn't it?

Is that Honor like Klingons? Among thieves? Or as in Honor Blackman? I got nothin' here.

Honor = cocks and assholes? Cool!

Neat comic, by the way. Never seen it before!

And probably these guys would think that if you had to spell it with a U, you don't have it.

Components still current: telling the truth, keeping promises, moving in on trouble.
Obsolete components: chastity, revenge.

That was me.

This is too conservative and must be taken to its logical extreme. Body Odor should not be abbreviated. Why are there two entries on skim milk and none on alcohol? And where is the porn?

Attitudes like that…
