It does sorta raise an interesting question. What do we do when every country except China becomes a little above 3rd world and they all start multiplying and having kids?

We can't feed them now. What are we gonna do when the world population doubles?

We could, indeed, feed them now.

One thing we could also do is teach them to read. It's been proven that literate females are more likely to have two or fewer children.

We also DO have the technology, and the abundance, to feed everyone now. We just can't do it at a PROFIT. Remove the profit motive, and there are a whole lot of things *less wrong* with the world.
