Nascent in 2003! I had a prehistoric adumbration of it in 1980. A lady in Virginia, returning from a trip to San Francisco, gave me a little teddy bear with spring-loaded paws. She said some men in gay bars were wearing them on their back pockets in lieu of handkerchiefs, to signify that they were into cuddling rather than roleplaying.

Fully matured! One may study the recent decay of some of its members into a parody of effeminacy on _Bear With Me_, which I am still following tho with increasing dismay. It is to you, Tony, & co., on these premises, that I now repair for a well of beardom undefiled.
