Sigh. Have to say I am not even slightly surprised:

This is a real weakness in medical research, and the nature of the publication process means that it's hard to overcome. The truth usually comes out eventually, but it takes WAY too long.

Part of the problem may be that eating fresh fish does help, but when you extract the oil and put it in a capsule, you lose the effect.

In the meanwhile, a bit of (ahem) "man to man" advice: not even otters like it when you take fish oil.

:-P

But…no…butbut…but wait…no, because they didn't look at taking shade-grown fish oil capsules in conjunction with artisanally-harvested organic unsalted fair-trade açai berries and washing it all down with pomegranate juice!

Dieticians call it "the cacophony of nutrition information". That we're presented with so many diverse and conflicting things about food and nutrition that it's hard to know what to do or ingest.
