So I was beating myself up for not getting a marketing blitz done in January? Well it turns out that the business line has been disconnected for the past three weeks! I wonder how many calls I would have missed, and how much damage to the business THAT would have done, had I actually gone ahead with what I was planning. The line would probably not have gone disconnected quite as long had I actually been expecting calls to come in, but sheesh, what an embarrassment. Bad enough as it is. Made handing out all those business cards more or less pointless.

Then again, maybe that was the universe telling me to chill for a while.

A wire came loose in the jack box when I was routing the internet cable. That's how I know exactly how long it's been. The phone hasn't been doing what I expected with regards to handling the multiple lines, but I thought it was because I didn't understand how it worked. It wasn't until I sat down with the manual that I realized it wasn't getting incoming calls on the business line at all.
