I figured out why our little under-counter fridge has such awful temperature control: the light does not go out when you shut the door. So the light warms everything on the top shelf.

Sigh. That probably burned a few hundred dollars of electricity over the past year, too. I cannot believe how crappy today's appliances are.

Wow, that is LOLtastic. This is not a Kenmore fridge, but I bet the relevant parts were built by the same people.

The especially funny thing is that it did melt the butter...
