Manhattan: Kingswood
Mar. 23rd, 2010 06:15 pmIntense day in the lab. Looking forward to returning home.
Highlight of the day is dinner alone at Kingswood, in the village, where I am right now. I like dining alone so much, the only downside is that I can't really share the experience. LOL. Food is incredible, but WAY too salty. Makes me a little queasy.
A quiet life in the woods, punctuated by short, expensive, yet highly profitable junkets like this, is my dream lifestyle. Very happy to have arrived.
Now, off to the Eagle.
Update: Gah, the Eagle didn't open till 10 and it's EMPTY. Shoulda stayed in the village. Oh well, real early start tomorrow. Had an interesting walk along the Hudson, though. I wonder if these were the docks that were so cruisy and hot 40 years ago?
